hey everyone!
It’s the long weekend for everyone living here in Melbourne. I wonder what everyone is getting up to. i’m playing netball, working and doing alot of homework.
In English class at the moment we have to write a family story, and i’m not sure whether to do it on my grandma and grandpa who moved over to Australia from Maderia (an Island off Portugal), or to do it on my Nan who met her husband during the war times.
Melbourne is a pretty big city if you think about it…around 4 million people living in it. Comparing to a town in central Canada – Snow Lake who only have around 1600 people. I’d like to say hi to those students who have been replying to my blogs, thanks it’s wonderful to hear what you have to say. I am having a few minor problems replying to your blogs but hopefully i’ll get it working soon. If you are reading this, i was wondering how old are all of you? i know you are in grade 7/8 (and have a much advanced vocabulary) but our ages for year levels might be different to yours.

Good day. I’ve been reading some of your blogs and found your poem to be extremely good! I couldn’t do that if I tried. I’m sending this to let you know that it’s not just Canadian kids who read your blogs, but Canadian adults as well! I am a 59 year young (very young!!) grandmother who’s grandchildren are as accomplished on the computer as I am. (Actually, Dustin, when he was four, showed me how to do something I was trying to get.) I’ve never been to Australia, but I have friends in Sydney who come home once in a while. My husband and I want to visit them someday. Who knows, we may get lucky. Enjoy blogging!! I think you should do your written piece on your Nan who met her husband during war times. We are all 12 and 13. How old are you? I do play piano, but outside of school. I have been currently playing some level 2 pieces. Well stop by my blog sometime and enjoy your summer holidays.
